Christmas CD for Sale
Hello and welcome to the 2008 Christmas CD that is being sold to help the troop's.
Thank you so very much for dropping by and offering your talent, your kindness, your heartfelt messages, singing and dedicating to the troops.
Let me explain a little about this.
I have what is called a Digital Music Service Agreement (License), which enables me to be able to sell cover songs legally.
Most of the profits that will come from the sale of each of the songs listed on this CD will go towards purchasing care packages to be sent to the troops overseas.
There is a percentage that MUST be paid for which goes towards royalty payments & fees etc.
This is not an actual CD as such, unless requested, which will cost YOU more, being for the blank CD, burning the tracks to the CD, the plastic CD cover, printing the CD label, printing the CD cover and then posting and packaging it from Australia.
I think the downloadable version is going to be a lot cheaper for the buyer, don't you think.
These tracks/files will be downloadable.
Once you pay for the files/tracks, then you will be sent the files/tracks, where you can download the file/s only the one time, you then can print out the CD label and cover for this Christmas CD for the troops, if you want to.
For the buyer
YOU DO NOT HAVE PERMISSION TO SHARE/GIVE AWAY ANY OF THESE FILES THAT YOU HAVE PURCHASED. THE FILES ARE FOR YOUR OWN PERSONL USE.
The artists donate their talent for a good cause that comes from within their heart and soul.
Please remember if you give away, share these files, you are taking away from the troops, who are giving up everything to keep YOU safe and alive, and sometimes they loose their lives for all of us.
So Pleaseeeeeeeee do the right thing.
Everything is being tracked from the website/s.
Who is eligible?
Anyone who sings cover songs, aka songs that come from original artists.
It must be your voice and your recording that you own.
How do you do this?
You can donate your talent from all genres.
You must sign the performance authority form.
Then your song tracks are advertised on the website to be sold under MY License only.
YOU cannot do this any other way, legally.
Unless you get your own license and do this yourself.
You must have a license to do this, which I have.
Please do not use or send songs that you have available for others to listen to, like singsnap, karaoke websites, it defeats the purpose for doing this in the first place.
Why pay for something when others can listen to your song online and for free.
What is exactly a performance authority form?
It is the form that gives me permission to add your file/s and or track/s to the website and CD for the purpose of selling your file/s and or track/s for the reasons set out on this website, being that most of the profits will go towards care packages for the troops.
It is also the only way it is to be done legally.
You also must include for each recorded file, the performance form giving me permission to add it to the CD and website
Where do the profits go?

Can originals be submitted?
Originals of all types can be added.
If you have your own original works, you are very welcome to participate with this CD project as well.
You must let me know if you have a publisher or if you are under any type of contract as there maybe royalty fees that will need to be paid if the fees are NOT overly expensive.
The aim here is to raise money so that the troops can have care packages sent to them.
What type of files/tracks can be included into the package?
Cover songs, (from original artists) singing, musicians, singer/songwriters.
This page is for everyone who wishes to donate there talent for this worthy cause.
All of this is to come from YOU and YOU alone or as a group, duet, band, as I said it is coming from your heart.

Anything that is included on this Christmas CD for Sale will not be included on the FREE Christmas CD that is being sent to the troops for FREE.
I am asking you to help all of us support all of our troops, no matter where they are from by donating your talent given to you by god.
What better way to put to good use of your wonderful gift and talent and that is by supporting the troops as they give us our daily freedom and to be able to live a normal life as we do each day?
We are all aiming for the same thing and that is to help and support the troops wherever possible, so why not work together as a team, we are far more successful that way.
